Galaxy GeForce GTX480 is a Graphics Processing Unit, aimed at desktop market segment. The GPU is based on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 model, and manufactured on 40 nm technological process. The cards graphics and processor clock speeds are 700 MHz and 1.401 GHz respectively. It also sports 480 CUDA cores, 60 texture units, as well as 48 ROPs. The GeForce GTX480 comes with 1.5 GB of GDDR5 memory, using 384 bit bus. The memory is clocked at 924 MHz, which translates to 177.4 GB/s memory bandwidth. The GPU has PCI Express 2.0 interface, and requires 2 motherboard slots. This model needs up to 250 Watt of power, same as on the reference design. The Galaxy GeForce GTX480 supports SLI technology, and will perform significantly better in games when used with similar GPUs (up to 3 in total).
