XFX Radeon R7 250X Core Edition (part number R7-250X-ZNJ4) is one of a few XFX Graphics Processing Units for desktop market. Based on AMD Radeon R7 250X, and The GPU, built on 28 nm manufacturing process, uses Graphics Core Next architecture. The card has 950 MHz graphics clock frequency. It also has 640 stream processors, 40 texture units, and 16 color ROPs. The Radeon R7 250X Core Edition has 1 GB of GDDR5 memory. Since the memory runs at 1.125 GHz, and utilizes 128 bit interface, the effective memory bandwidth is 72 GB/s. The GPU has PCI Express 3.0 interface, and needs 2 motherboard slots. This model uses up to 80 Watt of power, which is the same as on the reference design. The XFX Radeon R7 250X Core Edition is compatible with crossfire technology, and can be paired with another graphics card for increased 3D graphics and gaming performance.
