Launched in March 2012, XFX HD 7850 Black Edition desktop Graphics Processing Unit is based on AMD Radeon HD 7850, and built using 28 nm technology. The card has 975 MHz graphics clock frequency. Furthermore, it has 1024 stream processors, 64 texture units, and 32 color ROPs. The HD 7850 Black Edition comes with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory, clocked at 1.25 GHz. It has a 256 bit wide memory bus, which gives 160 GB/s memory bandwidth. The GPU supports PCI Express 3.0 interface, and uses 2 slots on the motherboard. This model requires up to 130 Watt of power, same as on the reference design. The XFX HD 7850 Black Edition is compatible with crossfire technology, and will perform significantly better in games when paired with a similar graphics card.
