Built on 40 nm manufacturing process, the GPU employs 2nd Generation Unified Shader architecture. The card has 1.34 GHz processor and 550 MHz graphics clock speeds. Furthermore, it has 96 CUDA cores, 32 texture units, and 8 ROPs. The GeForce GT 240 1 GB DDR2 incorporates 1 GB of DDR2 memory, clocked at 533 MHz. It has a 128 bit wide memory interface, which gives 17.06 GB/s memory bandwidth. The GPU supports PCI Express 2.0 interface, and requires a single slot on the motherboard. Like the reference design, this model has the maximum power consumption of 79 Watt.
