Based on NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT, and The GPU, produced on 80 nm manufacturing process, uses Unified Shader architecture. The card's processor and graphics clock speeds are 1.188 GHz and 540 MHz respectively. It also boasts 32 CUDA cores, 16 texture units, and 8 ROPs. The GeForce 8600 GT 256 MB GDDR3 embeds 256 MB of GDDR3 memory. Because the memory is clocked at 700 MHz, and utilizes 128 bit bus, the effective memory bandwidth is 22.4 GB/s. The GPU has PCI Express 1.0 interface, and needs a single motherboard slot.
