Introduced in March 2004, Palit Radeon X800XL 256MB AGP desktop Graphics Processing Unit is based on ATI Radeon X800 XL AGP, and fabricated on 110 nm manufacturing process. The card has 400 MHz graphics clock frequency. It also has 16 pixel shaders, 16 color ROPs, along with 16 texture units. The Radeon X800XL 256MB AGP incorporates 256 MB of GDDR3 memory, clocked at 500 MHz. It has a 256 bit wide memory bus, which gives 32 GB/s memory bandwidth. The GPU supports AGP 8x interface, and requires 1 motherboard slot. Like the reference design, this model has the maximum power consumption of 49 Watt.
