Palit GeForce 7800 GT is a Graphics Processing Unit, targeted at desktop market segment. The GPU is based on NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT model, and is built on 110 nm manufacturing process. The card has 400 MHz graphics clock frequency. Additionally, it has 20 pixel shaders, 16 ROPs, and 20 texture units. The GeForce 7800 GT embeds 256 MB of GDDR3 memory. Since the memory is clocked at 500 MHz, and uses 256 bit bus, the effective memory bandwidth is 32 GB/s. The GPU supports PCI Express 1.0 interface, and requires a single slot on the motherboard. The Palit GeForce 7800 GT is compatible with SLI technology, and will perform much better in games when paired with a similar graphics card.
