PNY Quadro NVS 280 PCI (part number VCQ4280NVS-PCI-PB) Graphics Processing Unit for desktop market segment is based on NVIDIA Quadro NVS 280 PCI, and produced on 150 nm technology. The GPU was introduced in October 2003. The card has graphics clocked at 275 MHz. It also has 2 pixel shaders, 2 ROPs, and 4 texture units. The Quadro NVS 280 PCI embeds 64 MB of DDR memory. Because the memory is clocked at 250 MHz, and utilizes 128 bit interface, the effective memory bandwidth is 8 GB/s. The GPU has PCI interface, and requires a single motherboard slot. The maximum power consumption of this model is 13 Watt, which is the same as on the reference design.
