Introduced in June 2004, PNY Quadro FX 3400 desktop workstation Graphics Processing Unit is based on NVIDIA Quadro FX 3400, and produced using 130 nm technology. The card has graphics clocked at 350 MHz. Additionally, it has 12 pixel shaders, 12 texture units, as well as 12 ROPs. The Quadro FX 3400 incorporates 256 MB of GDDR3 memory. The memory utilizes 256 bit interface, and operates at 450 MHz. This allows the card to have 28.8 GB/s memory bandwidth. The GPU supports PCI Express 1.0 interface, and requires 1 slot on the motherboard. This model needs up to 101 Watt of power, same as on the reference design. The PNY Quadro FX 3400 is compatible with SLI technology, and will perform significantly better in games when paired with another graphics unit.
