MSI GeForce GTX TITAN (part number NTITAN-6GD5) desktop Graphics Processing Unit was released in February 2013. The card is based on NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN, and fabricated on 28 nm manufacturing process. The graphics card is clocked at 836.5 MHz, and supports boost technology, that can increase operating frequency up to 875.5 MHz. It also sports 2688 CUDA cores, 48 ROPs, and 224 texture units. The GeForce GTX TITAN incorporates 6 GB of GDDR5 memory. Since the memory runs at 1.5 GHz, and uses 384 bit bus, the effective memory bandwidth is 288 GB/s. The GPU has PCI Express 3.0 interface, and needs 2 motherboard slots. The maximum power consumption of this model is 250 Watt, same as on the reference design. The MSI GeForce GTX TITAN is compatible with SLI technology, and will perform far better in games when used with other graphics cards (up to 3 in total).
